[itsm-announce] OTRS::ITSM 1.2.0 RC1 (Whitehaven Beach) released!

We are proud to announce OTRS::ITSM 1.2.0 RC1 (Whitehaven Beach)
today. This is a release candidate (rc) of OTRS 2.3 which is not
recommended to use for productive operation. A release candidate
is published for test purposes only although it should equal the
final release.

OTRS::ITSM is the first ITIL compliant IT service management
solution on open-source basis. It is built on the solid
fundament of 55,000 OTRS productive installations in 26 
languages.

OTRS::ITSM 1.2.0 beta3 requires the installation of the brand 
New OTRS version 2.3. All functionalities known from OTRS 
continue to be available with OTRS::ITSM 1.2.0 RC1.

Stable release:

Is planned to be released Aug-18-2008

Enhancements:
=============

* Added refresh mechanism to refresh the services overview and 
  the config item overview automatically.
* Updated spanish translation, thanks to Aquiles Cohen!

Minor Bugfixes:
===============

* Bug #3130 - ITSMUpgradeTo12 package did not migrate locations.
              The migration of locations to config items did 
              not work.

* Bug #3131 - Statistics did not work after installing the 
              ITSMUpgradeTo12 package.
