[otrs-de] kein einloggen als root@localhost moeglich

hallo,

habe nach standardinstallation von otrs 2.2.6 auf redhat linux folgendes problem: ich kann mich auf der otrs-oberfläche (index.pl) _nicht_ mit dem standarduser root at localhost, pw: root, einloggen. meldung: benutzername oder passwort falsch.

in /var/log/messages finde ich folgenden eintrag dazu:

kennt jemand vielleicht das problem und kann mir helfen? wieso klappt die authentifizierung nicht? ist an meiner mysql-konfiguration (version: 14.7) etwas falsch?
