[otrs] Upgrading SQL-Ledger 2.7.27 to 2.8.0

Greetings to all!  I have been trying several times to upgrade from 
version 2.6.27 of sql-ledger to 2.8.0 and all seems to go smoothly until 
I try to log in as user when the programme starts to update the database 
and then stops while complaining that cargo, br, vr, semaphore, etc. are 
already in the database.  It does this even if I go back 6 months to a 
saved database and restore that.
Are there any suggestions or solutions from those with similar 
experiences, please?  Thanks in anticipation,
