[otrs] Database access denied for user "root" on installing 2.2.1Win32

Luigi,

Was MySQL or MSSQL installed on the Windows machine already?  

It sounds like a pre-existing MySQL installation is preventing the turnup of
the OTSR database.

I'm new too... And just installed 2.2.1Win32 over XP... Install went without
error and I'm now struggling through config

I'm just trying to install on a Windows machine, but the system stopped me
at the very beginning. It did not get past step two[1] and could not create
a database.
As the system suggested, I opened a detailed bug[2]

I'm new to otrs, and I could not find real documentation about issues and
features.
Does anybody please have a suggestion?
