[otrs] Send Mail

So my problem is I can't send e-mail (smtp) what is the better way to send
e-mails...
I'm under a proxy server and with sendmail I just can send local e-mails...
Should I have a smtp external server? Is possibel to use the 465 port with
sendmail?
