Mail Header problems (spam filter)

Hi there, we are using popfile as a spam proxy for otrs, it is performing very well (over 99.5 % of precision), but some spam mail do not get filtered by the postmaster filter. Popfile works by adding a header called "X-Text-Classification", so I filter on this in my postmaster. The problems is on some mails containing additionnal space in Subject, Otrs doesn't recognize the rest of the headers as Headers. want to notify agents by closed tickets

Hi, sometimes our agents create tickets self by phone or mail and the content of any tickets are very easy. We create this ticket direct in the state closed. There is nothing more to do for any agents. But we want the get a notification of this. All other agents must be informed of this little action. If otrs generate a notification, all agents get this by mail. This is provided with bcc in Config.pm. The function ArticleCreate don't check for this notification because new article with the state closed will be return from this function before the notification-check was reached. I made a little patch for this. This patch don't disturb other functions. I think, it's useful to get notification for closed tickets. A better resolution would be a an array in Config.pm (or DB) with the actions, there are related to a notification. Maybe changeable for individual agents and selectable for only own tickets or all tickets. Many todo... What do you think? AutoReply does not work

Hello, the AutoReply does not work by otrs. I found a missing parameter in the function SendAutoResponse of the topical cvs and fix this. Here is the patch. bye Thomas

autoForward script

Hi all, i've made an autoforward script (with OTRS functions), to forward all tickets to some mailing list. Script is working fine when i run it in shell. Now i'd like to know where in source I can "call" my script, that every mail which goes to specific queue, would be autoforwarded too? Ticket number must be assignet to that mail, before it's forwarded. Any hint more than welcome. TIA, Alex

[Change Queue's name]

Hi, I'm new here so excuse me if i do mistakes. I have installed OSTR 4 on windows 2000 and I would like to know how i can change the queue's name ( when you read a ticket you can move it to another queue). Password enforcement patch

Here is a patch for some password enforcement features I've added to our fork of 1.3.2 at NASA. Not all of it will apply cleanly against a 1.3.2 tree; for example, we have a custom module AdminCustomer.pm that allows us to quickly modify customer user info. The changes to Admin.pm, CustomerPreferences.pm, and AgentPreferences.pm might also require some manual merging, but the code should be easy enough to grok. I think some or all of this might be found in the upcoming OTRS 2.x, but might be useful for folks using 1.3.x that need it NOW. :) New options to Default.pm: + $Self->{PasswordClassEnforce} = 1; + $Self->{PasswordClassMinimum} = 3; + $Self->{PasswordLengthMin} = 6; + $Self->{PasswordLengthMax} = 12; + $Self->{PasswordHistoryEnforce} = 1; + $Self->{PasswordHistoryMinimum} = 5; PasswordClassEnforce is a boolean to enable character class enforcement. PasswordClassMinimum defines the number of unique char classes that must be met (max 4: upper, lower, numerical, symbols). PasswordLengthMin and PasswordLengthMax are self documenting. PasswordHistoryEnforce is a boolean to enable password history tracking. PasswordHistoryMinimum defines the number of passwords in history to compare against. There are two new modules, PasswordValidate.pm and PasswordHistory.pm, that add the new functionalities.
