a simple answer that will tell me if I am on the right track (yes your submission sounds interresting, will consider for inserting in the source tree/ no sorry this is not general, interresting, enough ..whatever.. ) would do it for me.
In fact, it may be s.th. is missing in the mail containing the patch, as I cannot get your point. Please try to provide a usual 'diff -bru' attached to your mail, and keep the file size low. We're really looking forward to everyone willing to contribute to the development, but please be patient when expecting an answer. There will be one, but it may not always follow immediatly. You noted the 'busy state' already - get it. Remember: Development is like a flower - it grows, but slowly.
