Hi all!
Shouldn't we uncomment the example entry in .fetchmailrc, pointing to mail.example.com? If a more unexperienced user activates the cron job, the machine would fire against mail.example.com, which is undesirable ime.

Yes, this is true, so several option: - comment the line - replacing mail.example.com by <Your mail server> - rename .fetchmailrc to .fetchmailrc.example and add documentation in the README or INSTALL. Commenting the line is the most simple.
