I think you are looking for the Ticket-Event-Feature. It's an module layer where you could plug in modules which can do some stuff. For example if the ticket event "StateSet" is there, the module could check if it'S a ticket with the "TicketFreeTextX" and close also all other open Tickets with "TicketFreeTextX"... what ever...
