Hi otrs developers, I posted the message below on the otrs@otrs list, but they referred me to here. You guys are supposed to be better informed about this stuff. Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance, Mikhail -----Original Message----- From: otrs-bounces@otrs.org [mailto:otrs-bounces@otrs.org] On Behalf Of Nils Breunese (Lemonbit) Sent: vrijdag 30 november 2007 11:06 To: User questions and discussions about OTRS.org Subject: Re: [otrs] Making a custom module Mikhail Pauw wrote:
We are using OTRS now for a couple of months and benefited a lot of it. Recently we held a review sessions and one thing that most of our users encountered as annoying where the little things in their daily routine. Such as every time a new ticket comes in three steps has to be taken: 1. change queue, 2. change owner, 3. change responsible. What they really like to see that they can do that in one page (step).
So I've started on it by making the .pm file in kernel\modules, the .dtl in output\html and added a link in the ticketzoom page so they can access the page. Now when I click the link I get the error shown bellow. I looked on the web but I cannot find a lot of information about this subject.
My question is how can as easily as possible add a new page (module) to the otrs system? What are best practices? And so on...
You might want to subscribe to the OTRS developers mailinglist: http://lists.otrs.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/dev We are just mere mortal users. :o) Nils Breunese. P.S. We use separate e-mail addresses for each queue and don't use the responsible feature, so our agents just need to click 'Lock' to start working on a ticket. Of course everyone's setup is different. Good luck on your module. _______________________________________________ OTRS mailing list: otrs - Webpage: http://otrs.org/ Archive: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs To unsubscribe: http://lists.otrs.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/otrs Support or consulting for your OTRS system? => http://www.otrs.com/
