Which tools you use for ..?

hi all, I would like to translate/adapt the OTRS manual for my users (Agent and Customer). To do this I would like to know which tools you use to edit/create the manual and how you make the png of the OTRS database from the xml diagram. Have a look in /opt/otrs/scripts/auto_docbuild.sh for how we build the docu. We're currently using DocBook 3.1, but will be switching to something more recent soon, probably latest 4.2 DTD. Tools for Docbook are the db2x-utils (SuSE) and docbook-utils (RedHat), both available via rpm. GemDoc will help you out on Windows. hthab, Robert Kehl -- ((otrs.de)) :: OTRS GmbH :: Norsk-Data-Str. 1 :: 61352 Bad Homburg http://www.otrs.de/ :: Tel. +49 (0)6172 4832388

And for XML diagram ? and generating the png ? I would like to work on some module and I need a printed diagram in A3 format and with good quality ;) (the zoom of the A4 is too bad).

Hi, I have tried to read the dia file with dia on Debian sid and the diagram is bad. You can see what i mean here: https://www.nawak-online.org/~ze/otrs.diag_screen.png https://www.nawak-online.org/~ze/otrs.diag_screen_zoom.png WARNING: size of png ! otrs.diag_screen.png 353KB otrs.diag_screen_zoom.png 389KB The pb is that lines between boxes are broken. I use dia 0.92.2. on Debian GNU/Linux sid. Is there any other people who have the same problem ? Yann.
