Hi,
Tried to install Fred-0.2.11.opm from Package Manager through OTRS and got :
"Unable to parse Online Repository index document!" error
tried on both http://ftp.otrs.org/pub/otrs/develtools/packages/otrs.xml
and also
http://ftp.otrs.org/pub/otrs/develtools/packages/develtools/otrs.xml
without any success
So I then tried the manual method with opm package through Install on
Package Manager, without any success also giving me the following error :
Software error:
Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at
../..//Kernel/System/Package.pm line 1493,

Hi Thomas, Thanks for your answer. I tried through Package Manager on OTRS 2.2.2 and this time Fred package appears, I can see the second screen with module description and Continue button at the bottom BUT (because there is always one ... :) when I click on Continue I get : Software error: Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at ../..//Kernel/System/Package.pm line 1493. which seems to be very close from the one in last mail ( that is still present ) when I try to install the Package directly from Package Manager providing it the package through my computer rather than downloading it through FTP. Any ideas/informations/advises please that can help me to accomplish this install of Fred ? [ Maybe this package will help me understand my current development problems with DTL blocks :o) ] Thanks by advance, Laurent MINOST Thomas Raith a écrit :

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Laurent, Yes, there is always a BUT. I made the following tests. OTRS version | install via | install via download from the | Online Repository | ftp-server and install it via | | upload to the package manager - ----------------+-------------------+-------------------------------- OTRS 2.2.2 | false | true OTRS 2.2.3 | false | true OTRS 2.2.4 and | true | true higher | | OTRS CVS-Head | true | true So please try to install the package via manual upload to the Packagemanager (Webfrontend). I'm not sure what it is, but we think it's, cause of an umlaut in the package description. But this bug is fixed in OTRS 2.2.4 and higher. Please give me feedback. Thanks for your help and ((enjoy)) Thomas

Hi Thomas, Thanks for your answer. I can confirm you that with latest package (0.2.11) downloaded from ftp manually and installed via upload to the package manager, the installation process is working successfully. I now have Fred package installed on my OTRS 2.2.2. Thanks a lot for your quick support and answers. Best regards, Laurent Minost Thomas Raith a écrit :
