Hello! I'm using OTRS v1.3.2 in Debian Sarge. I've just setup the POP3/sendmail options. My problem arises when I send an email from OTRS, as it doesn't add the "Date" header and the date is not shown in the mail client's I've tested. I've also tried two different mail servers: Exim4 installed on the same server as OTRS and MDaemon v6 on an external W2K machine. On the USERS list, I've found two references to this problem: Bug 543: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2004-September/006244.html Old: http://lists.otrs.org/pipermail/otrs/2003-October/002998.html The one referecing bug 543 says that it's included in CVS but, which version of the file "Article.pm" should I get? I'm not shure if the last one is compatible with the rest of my installation. The older one makes reference to version 1.1.1 and to the file "Sendmail.pm" Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks a lot! --- Victor R. Rodriguez Departamento de Sistemas Valoraciones del Mediterraneo, S.A. ---

This problem is fixed in CVS head. This means in upcoming OTRS 2.0 (first beta 2005-05-01, stable 2005-08-01). If you want to patch OTRS 1.3, see in Kernel/System/Ticket/Article.pm ~ line 1197 -> %Header ... or contact http://otrs.de/ .-)

Hi! I've been on vacation some days... Yes, I got it solved modifiying Article.pm, but then notifications won't add the date header :( As I don't want to re-write too much from OTRS, I've solved it making my exim4 add the date header to all mail sent from the OTRS IP. BTW, the last exim4 update for Debian Sarge (exim v4.50-4) automatically adds an acl to do this, so you won't need to touch anything :) Thanks! On 22 Mar 2005 at 14:53, Martin Edenhofer wrote:
