Hello,

What we do is:
  1. Load CSV
  2. Download CSVs (with CI numbers on it)
  3. "Link" them on a new CSV file (first column CI#1, second column CI#2, third column relation between CI#1 and CI#2
  4. Invoke new CSV file from database stored procedure so the links get loaded
I wonder if there's a better procedure.

Hi Leonardo,

Yes I've seen that, but I'm importing the software and computer data from a csv file, i didn't see a way to create the link automatically from the csv files.

Any ideas?

Or a way to create links between computer and software through command line? So i could create a script to do that.

Thanks

Hello,

Not sure if possible but that's what the Link functionality is for: Create Computers, create Software apart and then link them together, that way you don't have to create the same entry twice when a given software exist in two different computers.

Hello,

I'm writing a definition for a ConfigItem Class, and would like to know if is there a way to add some kind of field that it's another ConfigItem Class

This way I could link the Classes Computer and Software for example, and would know which software runs in which computer

Is this possible?

Thanks
