[itsm] CI's and Attachment field

Hi Working on implementing a working CMDB, we can see the need for a Documentation CI, which we have created. The standard fields are ok, but it would be nice to be able to attach an external document i.e from Word etc. The Ticket module already has this feature, but how can I add this field to my CI definition ?
