Hi Paul You can link a location or a service with a config item using the link mechanism. But a bug (Bug# 1935) in OTRS::ITSM 1.0 beta4 blocks linking of services and config items. We will solve this problem up to OTRS::ITSM 1.0 RC1. If you want to add a new linktype, you must add a new linktype definition to the file Kernel/Config/Files/ITSMCore.xml and you must adjust the possible link partner using the Sysconfig interface in the admin area.
