Hi If you set the state "retired", the config item is not shown in all lists. But a bug in OTRS::ITSM 1.0 beta4 and before blocks this feature! Sorry. We fixed it in OTRS::ITSM 1.0 RC1 release. Maybe it's the lack of sleep but I can't find a way to do that :-P I was thinking that there should be a way to put it on invalid so that you can't connect it to any new tickets anymore but that it will still show up in old tickets that it was connected to.
