im searching for an barcode integration for otrs::itsm config-item's.

one idea is to have an extra printing pdf with barcode item for config-items. second idea is an extra barcode search field to check if the item is an software/hardware/network ...

i've also thought to use existing barcodes (eg the mac-adresses or serial numbers of the systems)

has anybody implemented such a solution?
