Add Customer Compnay Icon to Menu Tickets in OTRS 3
Hi, we are migrating from otrs 2.4.7 to 3.0.10 and we couldn't find the way to add the customer company icon to the tickets menu. In the otrs 2.4.7 version we had no problem.
Any suggestions?

Hi Daniel,
You'll have to set CustomerCompanySupport to 1 in at least one customer data source configuration.
Look at the section in Kernel/System/Defaults.pm that starts with "(customer user database backend and settings)". Copy the whole block over to Kernel/Config.pm and set CustomerCompanySupport => 1
This will make the icon show up in the 3.0.x toolbar. -- Mike

Hi, Mike. Thanks for your quick answer. I made the modifications you told me and nothing happened.
I also tried the same modifications in a virtual machine with OTRS 3..0.7 over Windows and it shows the option Customer in the Main Menu Bar not it doesn't appear the option Companies.
¿Am I doing something wrong or it is necessary to do something else?

I suggest you comment all the Customer Company settings you did in the Config.pm file, especialy the Frontend Module part, and except the CompanySupport part int he CustomerUser configuratilon - just to see if it might be a permission or nav bar name config issue.

Hi, nils. I made all you suggested in a testing Virtual Machine and it worked, but when I made the same modifications in the server it happened nothing. I tell you that thetesting VM it's a clean installation.
Any ideas to know what coutd it be happening?

I tell you that the problem is solved. I found the same block of code about customer company in the ZZZAuto.pm. I commented them and now the man menu bar shows the item Companies.
