Die Datei habe ich einmal manuell runtergeladen - keine Probleme. Das Programm bleibt einfach so stehen und es tut sich nichts weiter.
Eine Ursache könnte sein, dass Du hinter einer Firewall sitzt und das CPAN Module keine passive ftp Verbindung aufbaut. Wie hast Du die Datei denn "von Hand" gezogen?
