was ich in der FAQ noch fand, vlt. hilft's oder es ist ein Hinweis dabei:
Users cant find what they want with the search function because of this. It returns lots of unrelated tickets, and means they can't search for an exact phrase. They can't use regular expressions because LIKE doesn't support them, they can't use the * wildcard, and they can't search for individual words.
OTRS encloses the fulltext search expression with the% LIKE wildcard. This is
to avoid situations where e.g. a user searches for a word and it isn't found because it is followed by a colon.
To search for a string which consists of more than one word, just put double quotes around the string, otherwise both words must occur by default (... (art.a_body LIKE '%any%') AND (art.a_body LIKE '%one%'). If you have enabled the ExtendedSearchCondition ( http://doc.otrs.org/3.1/en/html/Ticket.html#Ticket:Core::FulltextSearch) (see this [ Siehe Hinweis unten zur Extended ticket Serach] FAQ) Sysconfig setting (enabled by default), you may specify whether just one of the specified word must occur or all words. Check the describtion of the config setting for syntax examples.
It's also possible to use wildcards. Regular Expressions don't work, but you may use the * wildcard character. In the SQL statement, it's replaced by %. The search expression any*one will then be replaced by '%any%one%' in the SQL statement.
Extended ticket Serach
You want to use conditions in the ticket search.
You want to search for tickets and the normal search does not fid you
needs, because no conditions (and or or) can be used.
Activate the ExtendedSearchCondition feature:
1. Login as OTRS admin.
2. Open the admin area and the SysConfig pannel.
3. Open the group FrameWork and the sub group Core::Web.
4. Activate the ExtendedSearchCondition feature via the config param
ExtendedSearchCondition.

hat noch jemand eine Idee?
Unterscheidung zwischen Groß- und Kleinschreibung bei der Such ist nicht gerade Trefferwirkend ..

Dein Lösungsvorschlag war leider nicht erfolgreich bei mir.
Mein OTRS Unterscheidet leider immer noch zwischen Groß- und Kleinschreibung.
@Josef wenn ich bei uns nach dem Wort ersatz suche bekomme ich alle Ergebnisse nur wenn ich nach Ersatz suche bekomme ich 0 Ergebnisse L

Hallo Kollegen,
wir hatten das Problem vor einigen Wochen ebenfalls. Was half, war eine Neuindizierung der DB. Die Vorgehensweise dazu entnahm ich der OTRS FAQ im Supportbereich.
Ich muss aber dazu sagen, dass ich beim festlegen der GenericAgents auch Probleme mit der Definition der Regelen bzw. Suchworte habe aber mit diesem Thema frage ich in den kommenden Tagen noch separat nach. Die SUche funktioniert seit der Neuindizierung wieder einwandfrei.
Ich kopier den Eintrag hier mal rein, vlt. hilfts.
Ticket full text search not working. 4200420
Symptom:
Full text search is not working properly. A search shows no, or incomplete, results.
Problem:
There is a problem with the ticket index. Index settings for the full text search are located in the sysconfig.
Core::FulltextSearch - The setting can be switched to StaticDB. Upon doing this, or resetting to RuntimeDB, it is imperative to rebuild the index. For StaticDB, this must be done on a regular basis.
Lösung
Do the following.

ich hab im Februar unser Ticketsystem von OTRS 2.4.9 auf OTRS 3.2.1
aktualisiert.
Bei dieser Version kann ich das auf die Schnelle leider nicht reproduzieren -
ich hab mal im Ticket-Betreff nach "wlan" gesucht und hierbei auch Tickets mit
"WLAN" gefunden.
Ich musste zwar beim Upgrade den Zwischenschritt auf OTRS 3.1.(11) machen, hab
diese Version aber nicht getestet.

upgedatet.
Nun haben sich unserer Mitarbeiter gemeldet das die Suche nichts mehr findet.
Nach ein wenig herum suchen und probieren habe ich festgestellt das die Suche
so wie es scheint Case Sensitive ist.
Kann man dies irgendwie abschalten? Es ist schwer den Mitarbeitern zu
vermitteln das sie die Suchbegriffe klein schreiben müssen J
