AW: [otrs-de] Attachmentgröße ändern
Hallo Alex, ob nun RedHat, oder SuSe ist glaube ich hier nicht maßgebend, sondernd die Datenbank - und hier haben wir ja beide eine MySQL. Der schnellste Schritt wäre eben die my.cnf zu editieren mit "vi", "vim", "mc", oder einen Editor deiner Wahl. Suche auch hier den Eintrag "max_allowed_packet = 1M" und tausche die 1 gegen die Größe aus, welche die Anhänge haben dürfen. Dann die MySQL neu starten: rcmysql restart Das war´s..... Das hilft auf jeden Fall weiter, doch leider haben wir Redhat 9.0 und in der my.cnf ist max_allowed_packet = 8M nicht drin. Ich habe mit mysqladmin variables geschaut und es ist tatsächlich auf 1M eingestellt, leider kenn ich mich mit Mysql überhaupt nicht aus und weiß nicht wie es ändern soll.

Hallo Herr Kravets,
die Attachmentgröße ist in der Datenbank verankert. Für eine MySql unter einer SuSe(9.x) wäre dies dann die my.cnf unter /etc mit dem Eintrag:
max_allowed_packet = 8M
Glaube Standard war bei mir "1M" eingestellt und ich habe diese dann auf 8 MB angehoben....

Vielen dank für die Hilfe, das komische ist, dass es keinen Eintrag max_allowed_packet = 1M in der my.cnf gab. Ich habe diesen eingefügt musste aber auch set-variables davor schreiben. set-variables=max_allowed_packet = 8M Auf jeden Fall geht es jetzt.
