No, this is not the behavior I've seen, I guess you're "on the woody one". ;-) Let's say I'm a customer and I create a ticket. I get an email from the OTRS system and the From of the email is "support@domain.com". This address is something that is set up in the admin area. BUT, when I (the customer) look at the ticket in the customer web interface, the from address shows the email address of the agent, maybe it is "bob@domain.com". The customer should not even think to email "bob@domain.com", they should only reply to "support@domain.com" so that OTRS can track the ticket. So no, the From in the email sent out does not match the From in the customer web interface. Make sense?
