The created ticket via the PhoneView is shown in the QueueView but not in your 'Locked Tickets' or 'New Message'. If you have a ticket in your 'Locked Tickets' where the last article isn't from your UID then you have a 'New Message'. Yes, in the next version you have a config option "PhoneDefaultNewLock" ('lock' or 'unlock'). If this is 'lock' and you create a new ticket via the PhoneView you will also have a new locked ticket in "Locked Tickets".
