Just did a quick check, and yes I have the problem too. I can't freetext search for tickets created before the upgrade.

I have been running some version of OTRS 3 from beta up until 3.0.3. I'm not sure when this search (for ticket number) stopped working, but I have the same experience as Gazizov.
For what it's worth, we've been using the Static DB all along.
