Subject: [otrs] accessing OTRS from outside
We have our routers setup so that OTRS can be accessed from
anywhere. But when we go to the web address http://helpdesk.company.com/otrs2.index.pl
it doesn’t work. Also, I can’t get Apache to automatically go to that
address. When you type in helpdesk internally, it goes to the otrs2 dir,
but doesn’t bring up the index.pl, not sure why. I have changed the
settings in apache2.conf to make the default web dir /var/www/otrs2, I am on
Debian 4.0r2.
Thanks,
Andrew

What do the logs say?
how about
/var/log/httpd-access.log and /var/log/httpd-error.log?
I’m sure that would shed
some light on it.
