Maybe.... :-D
But I'm quite new to otrs :-)
Will I have to move the 1500 mails in the RAW queue to the Junk queue myself, or will the postmaster filter handle that for me?
The filter applies only to new emails not to those already in otrs. To delete those 1500 emails you have two options: 1) manually move them to junk and delete them with a generic task 2) delete them with a run-once generic task directly from RAW Item 1 is safer because you won't accidentally delete a valid email unless *you* choose to move it to Junk. Item 2 is quicker, but might accidentally delete a valid email that is also resident in the RAW queue. If you are sure this is not possible just go for 2, otherwise stay on the safe route and opt or 1. HTH, Umberto

Then create a generic task which purges the Junk queue once in a while.
Maybe you're just suffering from random attacks of blindness :-D
