Hallo Jurjen,
Unfortunately, the values that are set by the Web based installer,
such as the SystemID and the admin email address, are added to the
file [otrs]\Kernel\Config.pm and not to the SysConfig files. This has
the drawback that they can't be changed from the SysConfig, and there
is even unfortunately no visual indicator that the values are not
changeable.
So if you want to change the SystemID, you can either update the value
in the Kernel\Config.pm file, or remove the value from that file, in
which case you can set it via the SysConfig.
The good news is that in the upcoming OTRS version the web based
installer is changed so it does not write these settings to Config.pm
but to the SysConfig instead.
Groetjes & ((enjoy))

Hello,
I am testing OTRS for windows V2.4.7.
I have installed it and it works well.
Now I want to change the System ID.
I do this as administrator in Sysconfig --> Framework::Core::SystemID. There I change it from 10 to 9 and then Update.
After the update is "jumps" back to 10.
I try a restart of the services but this has no effect.
How can I change the System ID?
Best Regards,
Jurjen Verhoeff
