Hi Jason,
We're aware that many operating systems are shipping very ancient
versions of CGI for some reason or other. For this reason we decided
to start bundling the CGI module in Kernel/cpan-lib starting version
3, meaning that you don't have anything to worry about if you're on
V3, you will automatically have the right CGI version available.
If upgrading CGI on a Mac gives you some issues, you can just fetch
this OTRS 2.4 package, and install it via the OTRS Package Manager:
http://users.otrs.com/~mb/CGI-3.49.opm
It will provide the up-to-date version of CGI.
Hope this helps,

Hello,
Is there any documentation to assist with installation on Mac OS X. I am installing on Mac OS X 10.6 Server. I can’t seem to find any mention on the website except on the front page to indicate that it works. I am getting bogged down with installing dependencies at this point.
I ran otrs.checkModules and found CGI is on 3.29 but 3.33 is needed. I ran “perl –MCPAN –e shell” followed by “install CGI” in an attempt to fix this and for some reason it detects gcc-4.2 as present but I believe I need to install it. In addition this process has detected sub-dependencies in FCGI and Test::More... This is getting to be like Alice in Wonderland for something that has been done before.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
