Personally I haven't seen anything about HTML email in OTRS, and to be honest with you most people would argue it doesn't have a place in something like trouble ticketing anyway...
(or discussion lists! :)
I'm sure if you really had to use it for some arbitrary formatting reason (still not a good reason :P) you could do some sort of cheap hack on the source code if there wasn't built in support for it.

Hello guys,
Is it in some way possible to generate HTML mail? When I use HTML tags, the customer receives the e-mail as plain text, So the tags are visable, without the desired format.
Any ideas? Or is this not yet implemented?
