Just a quick question , I'm running my attachment storage on the 'ArticleStorageFS' mode , however I am only running a 9GB RAID Debian system and running out of disk space quickly! If I run a Generic Job which deletes tickets from the system from a specified time , will it also delete the attachments? It seems it does not , how do I now know which attachments to delete from /usr/share/otrs/var/article , and can i delete these attachments safely?
A quick look in the ArticleStorageFS module shows me that also the files should be deleted, if a ticket is removed. However the FS module is not that used and tested like the DB module..., for that reasons the module might still contain bugs. If a ticket really was removed from database, you can also delete the regarding files in your file system. You can find these tickets via the coresponding ticket number.
Also , I have set it so that HTML email converts to plain text , it seems that it keeps both HTML and plain text (which is kind of double).
This is done because searching throough plain text messages is much easier and faster than searching through HTML messages with OTRS.
