      Just to make sure... If I add through the backend, directly to MySQL, do I
have to populate customer_preferences  as well, even if I'm not giving
actual customer access?

I'm moving from no trouble ticketing system... to OTRS.
So our emails are full of customers' emails etc...
What I was looking for was a way to easily add a preconfigured
customers' list to OTRS, instead of using the GUI to manually add
one-by-one. A .csv file would suffice, upload it and let OTRS do the rest.
