I'm running OTRS with Apache 2.0 and mod_perl, and I often have to stop and restart httpd to have OTRS working again. It seems to leave many MySQL connections open with many Apache children, and its response time slows down until I kill everything and restart.
Is there any known memory leak or other bug in OTRS that causes this? Is it a configuration issue?

Perhaps you give more information about precise version of your apache, mod_perl, mySQL, OTRS and operating system ...
