I found the admin@example.com in the following files
and changed it.
Kernel/Config/Default.pm
Kernel/Config/Files/Framework.xml
Kernel/Config/Files/ZZZAAuto.pm
Doing a search through sysconfig yielded
nothing. I just don’t get why this notification is not something that
can be changed from the Notifications option under the Admin screen. I mean
the system was easy to setup, and seems fairly intuitive but short of going in
and manually editing configs, making changes to the DB with phpmyadmin, these
things should be set globally in one place and all system options such as
notifications should be editable from one place which it seems its not.
I manually changed it in all 3 and presto
now my output is as follows:
