Getting the following error when trying to install the ITSMTicket-1.0.5 package:

This is a problem in your database settings. 'max_allowed_packet' Please talk to your DB admin, or set your package size higher. Anyone have any ideas I have tried uping the max_allowed_packet size..and this doesnt seem to do anything..
