Thanks Nils...but it is nightmare without rpm :( Anyway, I'm not sure if this is the best way for source installation upgrading but what I did was: (1) Unpack the downloaded new package into a new directory. (2) Ran the Setpermissions.sh script (3) Copied across all the installation specific files from the running directory like /Kernel/Config.pm, /Kernel/Config/Files/*, all package manager installed files like FAQ, Calendar, etc. (This is the painful part and I do only the essential file copying) (4) Login in as admin and reinstall all packages again via package manager. (5) Repoint application to new directory (done with a symbolic link change) Nils Breunese (Lemonbit) wrote:

I have otrs 2.2.6 installed and running. However, I want to upgrade to 2.2.7 now . When I looked at the file UPGRADING, it only says how to upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2.
What is the procedure to follow for upgrading to 2.2.7 from 2.2.6?
Do what's in the UPGRADING file, but just skip the database upgrade scripts as they are not needed since you're already on OTRS 2.2.x.
