To something like

" $Self->{NotificationSubjectNewTicket} = 'New Tkt! ()'; "

The better way would be to add $Self->{NotificationSubjectNewTicket} = 'New Tkt! ()'; to Kernel/Config.pm. Because Kernel/Config/Defaults.pm will be overwritten with every new OTRS package (Kernel/Config.pm not!). See also: http://doc.otrs.org/1.1/html/configfile.html
