Heya list members...
I have gone over the archives regarding this type of issue and all I could
come up with was that the maybe the it was the default character set. I am
using iso-8859-1. I tried to change it to utf but the config page blow's up
with an internal www server error 500. Everything else that I could see was
working but the config page. I would assume that the attachments already in
the system are lost since the same problem does occur.
I sure would love to get this fixed, people are starting to scream.
A little system info..
PostgreSQL 8.2.9 db is in SQL_ASQII ( Is this the problem?)
OSX 10.4.11
If the database was created in SQL_ASQII and this is the problem is there a
way to convert it or correct the problem?

Hey there list members.
We seem to be having a problem with attachments.
.rtf files with images pasted itno them take for ever to open and eventually open blank. .pdf files appear to be scrambled .docx file open fine
Is there some type of image processing that is failing here?
I tried to switch to the FS method of storing attachments but everything goes to hell in a hand basket, see thread http://www.mail-archive.com/otrs@otrs.org/msg23380.html
