I wiped my DB and started over, and am to the point in the install where I am testing the first login.
The instructions for 2.4.2 are the same as 2.3.4 and say to use "root@localhost" and "root", but that is not working.
Anyone have any idea about this one? Others are reporting the same thing so it seems not to be me. I'd really love to get going with 2.4.2 either with upgrade or new install. I don't really care which. It seems to me the new install would be the best route given the bizarre problems I'm having with the upgrade.
