Yes there is a way to change this behaviour. Go to SysConfig : Ticket
-> Frontend::Agent::Ticket::ViewQueue. There you are able to change
the order.
I think this could be what you are looking for:
$Self->{TicketZoomExpandSort} = 'reverse'
