Yes it's a standard Suse Linux 9.2, that means OTRS is handing over the mail to postfix and postfix trys to submit the mail to the mailrelayer. For the submitting issue you are right, that would be a topic for a postfix forum, but the only useful warning in case of no mail relayer would be a notification within otrs ...
