Am I missing something here? Does LogObject point to something different than the System Log?
Try to use: $Self->{LogObject}->Log(Priority => 'notice', Message=> 'Message Here'); If no Priority param is given the Priority debug is used. And debug isn't shown in 'System Log'. .-)
