From the docs (in http://doc.otrs.org/2.4/en/html/c1964.html):
12.1.4. Pending auto close-
Tickets in this status will be set to Closed Unsuccessful if
the pending time has expired. Time spent by the ticket in this status will
still add towards the escalation time calculations.
12.1.5. Pending auto close+
Tickets in this status will be set to Closed Successful if
the pending time has expired. Time spent by the ticket in this status will
still add towards the escalation time calculations.
