[otrs] Please help with 'Error: Can't connect to database, read comment!'

Hi everyone This is my first post to this mailing list. Since day 1, I have been having problems with setting up my account with the Web Installer. Whenever I change any fields in the admin setup page, this error message Error: Can't connect to database, read comment!http://forums.otrs.org/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=4739#p19432 shows up, even though OTRS recommends to change my admin password... I am totally buffled even after reading the online documentation. The same error message is given in both 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate and 32 bit Vista Business. Please anyone help me solve this.
