I confess that I'm far from a Linux expert. I've been trying to install OTRS on a Redhat 8.0 system via the tarball and the 7.3 rpm and not having much luck. Has anyone documented the process or should I just install on a Redhat 7.3 system to make it easier on myself? Thanks.
The 7.3 RPM on 8.0 isn't so fine! :-/ -=> OTRS 1.1 comes with a RH 8.0 RPM. But 1.1 isn't released yet. Maybe it's better if you install a CVS snapshot and update it later to OTRS 1.1. ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/misc/otrs/misc/snapshots/RPMS/redhat/8.0/
