I'm happy to have a crack at installing from source, but I just wondered if anyone had it working.
I can confirm it: It does work both on Sarge and Etch (I made a first test on Etch, and I'm currently running a pilot install on Sarge with no major issues -well, there's one regarding text strings within session variables and UTF8, but nothing too serious). In both cases I worked out from source tarballs. -- Jesús M.
