
OK I can see the reasoning behind this. It does leave me with the following question... If I have added someone who should be a customer as an admin, if I invalidate his admin account, with that user have any problems connecting as a customer? I suspect NO, but I have added AD integration for customer access and it seems as if I'm also getting that for administrators, which may be how this user ended up in the admin users. I will have to go back and scrub my configuration to make sure that 1) customers use AD to authenticate, and 2) Admins do NOT use AD, or at least regular customers can't accidentally log into the admin side with their AD username and password. In order to maintain full database integrity, it is NOT possible to delete a user via the GUI. If a user account is no longer required you can set it to 'invalid' within the 'user' section of the admin area.
If you really want to remove a user - and are absolutely confident that there are no tickets (open or closed) which reference the user - you can only remove it directly from the database, but it really is not necessary to do this.
