This comes with OTRS 1.2 (current CVS head also) and the ticket search feature. You also will be able to add/save search settings.
Also, if this would be possible then an additional enhancement would be to add a check box at the beginning of each which allows you to select multiple tickets to modify, either close, forward to another queue, delete or whatever.
This is on the todo list for OTRS 1.2 (or higher) but not implemented yet.
