The intention of OTRS is, that no queues can be deleted. You can only set them to "invalid". The same applies for users and some other data in the system. Background of this fact is the consistency fo the data in the database. I understand that. But is there a way to rename an agent account name ?
Ofcourse you can rename the account name of an agent or a queue, thats no problem.
Not from OTRS I suppose, but can I savely do this in the database ?
No, you can even do this via the web interface. Just take a look in the admin area and rename for example a queue. Users, queues, etc. are identifyed via a ID (a number) in the database, the name is only an attribute that can be changed easyly. But changing the ID would cause big problems ;-).
