is it because they keep recieving the same notifications?
I have experienced that too, but that was due to a mail that was stuck in
the system, and then otrs kept retrieving the same mails over and over
again.
Look in your crontab for the OTRS-user, and then run that script called
PostmasterPOP3.pm (i think that's the name). Then you'll get an errormessage
if it's due to the mail being stuck. From that you should be able to
retrieve what mail is causing all the problems, and remove that one.

Hi,
everyone is here is receiving notifications from our test-system and i dont know exactly how to stop it...
I searched the documentation and found this : Use $OTRS_HOME/bin/Cron.sh {start|stop|restart} to start or stop this cronjobs from $OTRS_HOME/var/cron/* (.dist will be ignored).
How does this work ?
Cron.sh tells me : Run this script just as OTRS user! Or use 'Cron.sh {start|stop|restart} OTRS_USER'!
Thanks to everyone answering my dumb questions :)
